Cobalt Twist Lock Series Umbrella Adapter – Unplated

Description

The Umbrella adapter for the Twist Lock compatible Cobalt Boat Models (296, 282, pre-2009 262, 276) enables use of  1.5″ diameter umbrellas.

Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum tubing for enhanced durability.  This unit is not plated. Recommended only for freshwater boating, this unit is offered as a lower cost option for boaters that do not require enhanced salt water corrosion resistance.

The inner diameter is machined to provide adequate clearance for most 1.5″ diameter umbrella tubes and prevent the umbrella from being able to insert all the way to the receiver cross bar.  The portion of the adapter that protrudes out of the receiver is lightly machined for an attractive finish.

This drops into the twist lock receptacles found on Early model 262’s, 276’s, 282’s, 296’s as well as any other model with the barrel cam style twist lock ski pylon receiver.

A pinch thumbscrew is included, but we recommend using the through bolt or latch style for maximum umbrella holding power. See the detail sheet for more information.

Note, due to the hand-machined nature of the tubing, there may be tooling marks visible.  Limited lifetime warranty – external corrosion is not covered for this model.
